Thinking about joining an online self-help support groups. We now have Facebook support groups. These are Self Help Groups, where we share stories or experiences to help each other cope better and live better with a chronic eye inflammatory condition. Medical advice is not to be given, this a forum for support. These free online self-help support groups allow for sharing information, experiences, and support. They are a closed group, meaning you must be approved by an administrator to join the group and content will not show up in a public newsfeed.
The goal of our online self-help support groups is to help you and/or your family cope better with your eye inflammatory disease. As well as teach you and others about your uveitis/ocular inflammatory disease and the importance of getting appropriate care. We have a group for adults and family members, parents, and teens.
